Everything between you and your AI coding agents

Cockpit connects to the hosts where your agents run, keeps their sessions alive and gives you one place to watch, answer and steer them – on the desktop, in the browser and on your phone.

Sessions and chat

Every agent runs in a persistent tmux session on its host. Cockpit finds them, shows their state and renders each one as a chat you can actually read.

  • Session browser

Hosts, tmux sessions, windows and panes with the detected agent: working, waiting for input or idle.

  • Formatted chat

Markdown, collapsed tool calls, thinking and token usage, read from the agent's own transcript.

  • The terminal at hand

Interactive dialogs stay in the real terminal, one click from the chat.

  • Images and attachments

Drag and drop, paste from the clipboard or pick a file – and see previews in the transcript.

  • Continue with another agent

Hand a conversation over to another agent with a handoff document, both shown as one thread.

  • Prompts are never lost

Drafts survive reconnects and restarts, and a failed send puts your prompt back into the input.

Hosts, prepared for you

Point Cockpit at a machine and it does the rest. You approve only the steps that need sudo.

  • SSH, local shell or WSL2

Remote Linux servers, jump hosts and pinned host keys, your own computer, or WSL2 on Windows.

  • Automatic setup

tmux, agent CLIs, hooks, cockpit-proxy and the environment, kept up to date on every connect.

  • Files and editor

Browse, edit and upload files on the host, with conflict detection instead of blind overwrites.

  • Automatic reconnect

Network gone? Cockpit reconnects; the agents never noticed.

Your AI accounts, pooled

Sign in to your providers once, in Cockpit. Every host gets your enabled accounts as short-lived tokens – no copying of credentials, no per-host logins.

  • Subscriptions, API keys and local models

Claude Pro and Max, ChatGPT for Codex, Gemini API keys, Google accounts for Antigravity, and Ollama, vLLM or LiteLLM endpoints.

  • Limits handled for you

When one account reaches its limit, cockpit-proxy on the host moves on to the next one.

  • Model policy

Choose which models a project may use and get protected against silent model substitution.

  • Verify now

Check an account's sign-in and its delivery to every connected host in one click.

Cockpit Web Pro

The same sessions in any browser and on your phone at cockpitai.dev/app. Your host opens an outgoing relay, so there is nothing to expose to the internet.

  • Full chat and terminal

Answer waiting agents, send images, run the interactive terminal with a key bar.

  • Push notifications

Know when an agent is waiting, with quiet hours and "only when the desktop is not running".

  • Projects and accounts

Start projects, open new sessions, switch and verify AI accounts from anywhere.

  • Installable

Add it to your home screen and use it like an app.

Standalone agents

Save a piece of work and let an agent do it without anyone watching. Cockpit keeps the result, the transcript and the token usage.

  • By hand or on a schedule

"Every weekday at 7:00, summarise the open branches" – on your own host.

  • Webhooks and Jira Pro

Start a run when something happens and comment the result back on the Jira task.

Project sharing Pro

Invite another Cockpit user into one of your projects. They see its sessions, chats and files in the role you give them – never your other projects, hosts, AI accounts or vault.

Control and safety

  • Run mode per host

Keep the CLIs' own confirmations, or switch a trusted host to Turbo.

  • MCP servers per project

Manage MCP servers once for Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity alike.

  • Agent memory

Standing instructions on three levels, delivered to every agent you use.

  • End-to-end encrypted vault

Secrets sync between your computers; the server cannot read them.

Desktop details

  • Layouts

Chats and terminals side by side in saved, dockable layouts in one window.

  • Notification history

Every toast and error can be found again, linked to its session, host or account.

  • Export

Export a chat to PDF and copy formatted replies and tables.

  • One-click updates

Signed releases, installed silently on Windows, Linux and macOS.

Coming next

What we are building now. No dates yet – it ships when it is ready.

  • AWS workers

Run agents on cloud machines you order from Cockpit, pay-as-you-go or prepaid, always settled from your wallet balance; a choice of base instance sizes.
