Invite-only pilot: sign-ups are limited while we onboard the first users. Ask for an invitation

For Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity CLI

One Cockpit for all your AI-driven development.

Run your coding agents on your own machines and steer every one of them from a single desktop app. Read them as a formatted chat, keep the terminal one click away, share your AI accounts across hosts – and answer them from your phone when you step away.

Free for the desktop. Every new account starts with a 14-day Pro trial, no card required. Cockpit is in an invite-only pilot: an account needs an invitation – ask for one.

Why Cockpit

Agents are fast. Juggling them isn't.

Cockpit adds the control room that plain terminals are missing – without replacing the agents you trust.

Five terminals, three SSH sessions and no idea which agent is waiting for you.

See every agent at a glance

One session browser shows every host, tmux session and agent with its state: working, waiting for input or idle. Jump into any of them in one click.

A dropped connection or a closed laptop used to mean a lost agent.

Sessions that never drop

Agents live in tmux on the host. They keep working when your laptop sleeps, the Wi-Fi drops or the app restarts – and Cockpit picks up exactly where you left.

Thousands of lines of terminal scrollback to find one answer.

A chat, not a scrollback

Read each agent as a formatted chat with Markdown, collapsed tool calls, images and token usage. The real terminal is always one click away.

Features

Everything between you and your agents

From the first SSH connection to a push notification on your phone.

Session browser

Hosts, sessions, windows and panes with the detected agent and its live state.

Chat over the transcript

Markdown, tool calls, images and attachments. Your answer goes into the real terminal.

Side-by-side layouts

Tile several chats and terminals in one window and save the layout for later.

Hosts set up for you

SSH, your own machine or WSL2. Cockpit installs tmux, agent CLIs, hooks and the proxy.

AI accounts, pooled

Sign in once. Hosts get short-lived tokens, and a limit on one account moves on to the next.

Pro

Cockpit Web

Your sessions in any browser and on your phone, with push notifications when an agent waits.

Standalone agents

Run agents by hand or on a schedule; with Pro also from a webhook or a Jira task.

Pro

Project sharing

Invite a teammate into one project – without sharing your hosts or your accounts.

How it works

From download to your first agent in minutes

  1. Install and sign in

Install the desktop app for Windows, macOS or Linux and sign in with your Google account.

  2. Add a host

A Linux server over SSH, your own computer or WSL2. Cockpit prepares it and asks only before steps that need sudo.

  3. Start a project

Pick a folder and an agent. It runs in tmux on the host, and you work with it as a chat – on the desktop and, with Pro, on your phone.

Your machines, your accounts

Cockpit attaches to your agents. It doesn't replace them.

Agents, code and model traffic stay where they belong. Cockpit adds the view and the controls on top.

model traffic agent CLI → cockpit-proxy on your host → your AI provider
desktop → SSH → your host
phone, browser → cockpitai.dev ← outgoing relay ← your host
  • Your code stays on your hosts

Agents run on your own servers and computers. The desktop connects over SSH; Cockpit Web reaches them through an outgoing relay from the host, with no open ports.

  • No model tokens resold

Cockpit never calls an LLM itself. You use your own subscriptions, API keys or local models; requests go from your host straight to your provider.

  • Secrets stay encrypted

Your vault is end-to-end encrypted, and hosts receive only short-lived access tokens for your AI accounts.

  • Signed updates

The app installs an update only when it carries Cockpit's release signature.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Cockpit an AI model or a coding agent?

Neither. Cockpit is the control room for the agents you already use – Claude Code, Codex CLI and Antigravity CLI. It installs and starts them on your hosts, shows them as chats and never calls an LLM itself.

Do I need my own server?

No. Agents can run on your own computer (on Windows inside WSL2). A Linux server over SSH lets them keep working while your laptop is closed.

Which AI subscriptions can I use?

Claude Pro and Max, ChatGPT for Codex, Gemini API keys and Google accounts for Antigravity CLI, and local model endpoints such as Ollama, vLLM or LiteLLM. You keep your subscriptions; Cockpit does not resell model usage.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Cockpit Web at cockpitai.dev/app works in any modern browser and can be installed like an app, with push notifications. It is part of Pro and of the 14-day trial.

Can I cancel Pro?

Anytime, in the customer portal. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period, and within 14 days of your first payment you can get your money back.

Who makes Cockpit?
